Omuma CTC Boss Tasks APC On Registration
The All Progressives
Congress (APC) executive members and workers engaged in the party offices in Omuma have been charged to facilitate the registration of new members and those decamping from other parties.
The Care-Taker-Committee Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area, Hon. Emeka Nwogu gave this charge recently during the commissioning ceremony of six ward offices in the area.
At ward 5 APC office at Amaji, Nwogu encouraged all indigenes and people resident in Omuma to register enmasse, without fear of intimidation or marginalization, saying, “the door is open for everybody to register now that the offices have been commissioned.”
Receiving members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Umuajuloke (Ward 10) who decamped to APC, he assured them that APC would protect their interest and give them equal rights as old members. He noted that every person in his own ward, the Owuahia or ward two has turned to APC from PDP.
At Ward 4, Rivers State Commissioner for Special Duties, Hon. Dickson Umunakwe expressed happiness over the mammoth crowd that turned up for the ceremony, assuring them of APC’s victory during the forthcoming elections in the state.
Also speaking, the former Chairman of Omuma Local Government Area, Hon. John Anucha commended the efforts of INEC, police and military operatives in ensuring a free and fair governorship election in Osun State, pointing out that APC would be victorious in subsequent elections in the country.
A former State Lawmaker, Hon Emmanuel Okata, former LGA Chairman of PDP, Mr. Bright Nwankwo, and present LGA Chairman of APC in Omuma,[[ Charles Amaefule thanked Omuma people for unity of purpose in embracing and supporting APC, charging all members to continue grassroot mobilisation of members for the party.
