Ikechukwu Targets Scores Award In Nigeria

signing Francis Ikechukwu has said he hopes to emerge the highest goalscorer in the Algerian top-flight league.
But the former Khartoum FC of Sudan forward, who joined Aso CHLEF from Ahly Shandy in Sudan, said he knows it will not be an easy task.
“My set target is to be the highest goal scorer in Algeria. I know it will be challenging, but I am ready for it,” he said.
“I think between 15 and 20 goals will be enough for me to end up as the top scorer in the Algerian.
He has also settled for jersey number 77 after he got not get his favourite number 7.
“I will be wearing jersey number 77, I choose it because my favourite number 7 jersey is not available,” he said.
The former Nigeria U23 striker played all the three pre-season games involving Aso CHLEF in Turkey alongside compatriot Joshua Obaje.
Action in the Algerian top flight commenced at the weekend.
