Enyimba coach Kadiri
Ikhana has said that the league is still wide open even more than half way through the season.
Only three points separate the top seven teams in the Nigerian top flight after 24 rounds of matches.
Pillars top the standings on 40 points, while Dolphins and Nasarawa United have recorded 38 points.
From Fourth-placed Enyimba all the way to seventh-placed Lobi have won 37 points apiece.
Ikhana, who won the league with both Enyimba and Kano Pillars also said his team was not yet playing up to their full potentials.
“The league is still open and we are still a work in progress,” said the veteran coach
Enyimba has again reached the final of the 2014 Federation Cup and is back as serious contenders for the league championship.
“So far we seem to be doing well but we have not yet played to our potentials,” said Ikhana, who was re-appointed by Enyimba after they parted ways with Zakari Baraje at the end of the first round of the league.
