It is quite obvious that the
duo of Wizkid and Wande coal have been missing in action in Nigeria music clan for over one year now and this had kept their fans wanting with bated breath for the release of their respective anticipated music albums a year after they promised to do so.
The duo was said to have promised to release their joint mixed tapes last year, but they have failed to deliver. Wizkid kept announcing new dates for the release via his Twitter handle, while wande coal who started the trend of the all hip pop album with his first album “Mushin to Mo’Hits” promised to release his album June 6, 2013.
Wande Coal who took a long hiatus after he released his debut album six years ago, has released hit songs, including “the kick” ‘Rotate’ ‘My way’ ‘Kilaju’  and the controversial Baby face”.
Wizkid like his friend and colleague, wande coal has released hit singles including Omo Jaiye – Jaiye’ which many believes would usher in his second album. He once posted a picture of the list of his 11 track album which features label boss, Banky W, prolific producer, Don Jazzy and Singer Seyi Shay on Instagram last June.
It was however, gathered that both wizkid and wande coal have continued to record songs and collaborate with international artistes, it is therefore expected that when both of them eventually release their respective albums and the much talked about joint mixtape, it will no doubt be laced with local and international celebrations.
