Rivers Footballer Explains Success In Coca-Cola U-15 Tourney

footballer Kerison Omokaro, has attributed his success in the just concluded coca-cola under-15 football competition in Brazil to hard work and determination.
Omokaro, who disclosed this in an interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt said that he was happy for the experience and exposure he achieved so far at the tournament.
According to him, four players were choosen from the country to represent West Africa region in an under-15 football competition, saying that he was among the four.
“I am so glad to travel outside the country, with my football career. By the grace of God, I am aspiring to be a professional and go further to play International Football some day”, he said.
Earlier, the team manager of Holdando FC, Miebaka Martins, who is also Omokaros coach, said that, players were selected from different clubs to represent Nigeria, among countries in the West African region to form a team, as the competition had each region represented in the African continent.
The competition which lasted a week, saw the West African team clinched second position.
The players returned from the championship held in Brazil, before the on-going FIFA World Cup.
