Rivers Cyclists Form Excites Coach

cling Association Emmanuel Anonsaya has expressed satisfaction over the performance of the cyclists at the just-concluded monthly cycling competition held in Port Harcourt.
Anonsanya, made the statement in an interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
He said that the athletes here in high spirit at the weekend adding that their performance was satistifactory with an impressive standard.
He stated that with Rivers cyclist’s performance, they need to sustain their previous record at the 19th National Sports Festival, scheduled to hold in Calabar, Cross River State.
He also disclosed that prize for the competition had been converted to cash prizes during the June edition of the competition, saying that more states have began to indicate their interest to participate in the month ends event.
“Delta and Edo State have already indicated interest to take part in the next edition of the tournament, scheduled to hold at the last Saturday of this month.
Meanwhile, states that took part in the tournament include, Akwa-Ibom, Imo, Bayelsa, Rivers and Cross River State.
It would be recalled that the competition is usually held amongst states within the Niger Delta region.
