PH Set For Music, Dance Jamboree …As Maltina Kicks Off Audition, Today

All is now set for this
year’s regional auditions of Maltina Dance All Seasonal Eight (MDA8), the popular dance show sponsored by Maltina, the nation’s number one malt drink from the stable of Nigerian Breweries Limited.
The Tide Entertainment gathered that hundreds of thousands of enteries from potential contestants have been received and as the process of selecting Nigeria’s top dancing family enters a critical stage, contestants are gearing up by dusting their dancing shoes ready for action.
The exciting and emotional process will be kick started with regional auditions in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital at the Atrium Event Centre on Friday July 18th and Saturday July 19th 2014. Aside Port Harcourt, the other auditioning centres are Lagos and Abuja.
The regional auditions are used as the platform to select family representatives who are expected to qualify their families before the show proper kicks off. During these regional auditions, consumers and respective family members also stand a chance to win any of the fantastic regional dance competition prizes.
Speaking on the event, the senior brand manager, Maltina, Mr Adewole said, “we are glad with the evolution of the Maltina brand over the  years and the impact it has made thus far. We are also very excited about what Season Eight of MDA have in store for us”.
According to him, “eight years is a long time for a show to still remain relevant and we are very glad that Maltina through MDA, continues to bring the brand experience of sharing happness and fun to the consumer. He assured that the MDA ‘Rhythm of Happiness Edition’ will be refreshing by unique because they have put a lot of work into it to ensure that every year, there is something bigger and better.
On the prizes to be won, Adedeji disclosed that the winning family will go home with a grand prize of N10 million, the first and second runners up will also get N3 million and N1 million respectively which is an increase from N6 million, N1 million and N500,000 won last year by contestants.
It would be recalled that the 2007 edition was won by Onye Family, 2008, it was the Opuwari Family, 2009 was won by Ibiams, 2010, the Adejos, 2011 by the Ekubo’s while in the 2012 edition, the nation’s number one dance family were the Greens and 2013 edition was won by the Briggs Family, other families are expected to emerge in the 2014 edition titled Rhythm of happiness.
