Liverpool Signs Nigerian Youngster

up Liverpool FC have handed a professional contract to Anglo-Nigerian youngster Sheyi Ojo.
The 17-year-old along with six other players from Liverpool’s academy were offered new professional contracts by the management of the club.
The other players are: goalkeeper Lawrence Vigouroux, defender Kevin Stewart, playmaker Sergi Canos, defensive midfielder Pedro Chirivella, winger Harry Wilson and Jordan Williams.
Ojo joined Liverpool’s academy in 2011 from English League One side Milton Keynes Dons for a a reported £2 million fee.
He has already represented England at U-18 level. But both he and Jordan Ibe, another youngster with Nigerian roots on Liverpool’s roster, are still eligible to play for Nigeria.
Ojo scored twice for Liverpool’s U-18 side last  Saturday as they defeated their counterparts from Blackburn Rovers.
