Ecobank Creates Internet Banking For Customers

The competition within
the backing sector had forced different banks to adopt method of effective services to their customers.
Few days ago, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc took banking to twitter for its customers, Ecobank Plc has now introduced a financial product for its numerous customers tagged Exco Retail Internet Banking.
According to a statement by the bank, the essence of the product is to enhance accessibility of customers to their accounts anytime and anywhere internet facilities are available.
The bank says the product is a quick and easy way to make instant payment to family and friends across the globe.
The bank in a statement signed by its managing director Jubrin Aku added the product is in three categories depending on the type of account being run by the customer.
The statement said operation of the product for a saving account holder, all the customer needs is a valid identity card, a Smartphone and will be given a form that will enable the customer have a password to the account.
The bank said the product allows customers to download and view account statement stressing that the product enhances security of account.
The bank said the product will facilitate western union money transfer by customers.
