Women League: Absence Of Rivers Angels Players Worries Coach

Port Harcourt is yet to play a match since the commencement of the second stanza of the on-going 2014 women football league in the country.
This followed the absence of key players of the team who are presently in the National team  (Super Falcons) for the on going national assignment.
The assistant Coach of the club, Whyte Ogbondah said  that the matches that were postponed would be played as outstanding games, adding that the Angels would feature in Week 15 of the league next week.
“We are going to encounter Taraba Queens FC, in Taraba State next week in one of the week 15 fixtures,” he said.
Tidesports gathered that other clubs have been playing their matches since the beginning of the second round of the competition.
Presently, the Angels have 24 points from 10 matches played so far in the league.
It would be recalled that the Angels have two outstanding matches to be played in the league, as their match with Nassarawa Amazons FC was postponed.
