Manalisa, Others Sign ‘Queen of Compassion’ Contract

Four Noolywood authors
have signed ‘Queen of Compassion contract with the New Nation Limited.
The Chairman of the firm, Charles Dukwe who disclosed this last Friday during the official launching of the programme said the competition which is exclusively for female intend to encourage women to become musicians.
He noted that objective of the competition was also intended to drive the firm’s anti diabetes campaign.
Dukwe said Uche Jumbo, Ini Edo, Manalisa Chinda and Desmond Elliot would constitute the members of the judges as the competition would be shown live on television when it commences in January, 2015.
The Business Magnet said lots of reward would be given to participants, noting that the programme was intended to campaign against diabetes and high blood pressure.
He said the winners will go home with $l million, American green ‘card, sports car, clothings and a home in Atlanta.
Dukwe however identified last of compassion among Nigerians as the reasons for the country dwindling economy and underdevelopment as he urged Nigerians to be patriotic and respect values.
According to him, Compassion and integrity is America values and we Nigerians should be patriotic instead of being selfish.
“Compassion is our greatest problem we lack it and do not care about our neighbors. There is a street called Headway in London, the average house is worth 3 to 4 million pounds, celebrities in UK don’t buy houses there because it is expensive, but surprisingly Nigerians own about 70 per cent of the houses in that part of London”, he said.
