Hotel Presidential Celebrates Children In Style
Students of selected schools
in Port Harourt were thrilled to a bash in fun party organised by the management of Hotel Presidential in a Port Harcourt, last Saturday.
The get together party which was part of the programmes organised by the hotel for this year’s edition of Children’s Day, was hosted at the pool side of the hotel, with the children.
The two participating schools, Priqueen International School, and State Primary School, Orlanada were from the host communities to the hotel.
According to the Assistant General Manager of the hotel, Mr Rex Yaakpogoro, the gesture was part of the hotel’s corporate social responsibilities to its host communities and to give the children a sense of belonging.
Mr Yaakpogoro, said the party would be a yearly event and participation would be extended to other schools in subsequent editions.
He said the hotel management promotes standards in its service delivery as a leading hospitality industry.
He also restated the commitment of the hotel to giving back to the society especially in the development of youth talents.
In her remark, the Head Teacher of State Primary School I Orlanada, Mrs Beatrice Emenike, thanked the management of the Hotel for giving the children a sense of belonging, adding that the opportunity would help in raising the social awareness of the children.
She also called on other corporate organisations to borrow a leaf from the hotel and contribute to the development of children.
