Forum Restates Committment To Good Governance In Rivers

under the auspices of Rivers Dynamic Forum (RIVDF) has restated its commitment to the promotion of good governance and accountability in public service.
National Cordinator of the body, Comrade Morris Prince gave the assurance in Bori, headquarters of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State, recently, during the inauguration of the Khana chapter of the body.
Addressing supporters and members of the organisation, Comrade Morris said the body will use its grassroots involvement to sensitise the people of Rivers State, especially the youths on the need for good governance to check profligacy and misused of public fund.
The National Cordinator also commended Governor Rotimi Amaechi for his commitment to due process and accountability in public service and also drummed support for an Ogoni Governor in Rivers State come 2015.
He also charged the new exco of Khana chapter to be vigilant and resist being used as pawns in the game of power in 2015,  noting that the body would support only visionary leaders with genuine objectives of development for the people.
In his speech, the chairman of the event, Hon Legborsi Nwidadah, commended the body for the vision of promoting good governance and support for the Ogoni 2015 project.
Nwidadah who represents Khana Constituency I  in the Rivers State House of Assembly, also described the APC leadership as the most progressive for the development of Rivers State, given the glaring achievement of Governor Chibuike Amaechi.
Also speaking, the APC women leader in Rivers State, Caroline Nagbo thanked the Forum for their vision and described the APC as the hope of the common man in Rivers State and Nigeria in general.
In his post inauguration speech, the coordinator of Khana chapter of the Forum, Comrade Kenneth Nwito, said the chapter will be committed to upholding the objectives of the body.
