Eze Ndi-Igbo Pledges Igbo, Ogba Unity

The newly crowned Eze
Ndigbo of Ogbaland in the Ogba Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area,  Eze Dr Nelson Ikechukwu Ejiogu, has pledged to build bridges of unity between Igbo and the Ogba people.
Speaking after his installation by the Oba of Ogbaland, His Eminence Oba Chukumela Nnam Obi II, Eze Dr Ejiogu promised to use his office not only to unite the Ibos and the Ogba counterparts but other groups in the area.
While thanking, the Ibos in Omoku for finding him worthy of the position, he promised that his office would remain open for all Ibos in Omoku and other parts of the local government area.
The Eze Ndiigbo also urged the youths to shun cultism and other social vices that are capable of retarding the progress of their communities.
He also called on the Nigerian Agip Oil Company and other multinationals in the area to execute people-oriented projects in their host communities.
Ejiogu also pledged to work with the security agencies to reduce crime rate in Omoku and its environs.
“We are going to contribute 60 percent of security to make sure, we expose criminals in Omoku and its environs” he said.
Earlier, the Oba of Ogbaland in his Eminence Chukwumela Nnam Obi  II said that the newly crowned Eze Ndiigbo of Ogbaland had been committed to the development of Ogbaland and also demonstrated his love for the Igbos during the recent crisis that rocked the area.
