Ex-International Wants Eagles To Blend

A member of the Tunisia
1994 Nations Cup squad, Edema Fuludu, has said that only Super Eagles’ hard work would enable the team to blend and overcome their challenges.
Fuludu told newsmen in Lagos that the team’s attitude would largely determine the extent of their success in the 2014 World Cup Mundial taking off on Thursday.
“I think that the Super Eagles are yet to gel properly, but I also feel that there is an attitude of hard work.
“A desire to win; the coach still needs to, you know, add a few talks with regards to their attentiveness, total concentration and most importantly the pairing.
“Because I don’t know whether he is still thinking between Emenike and Osaze starting or maybe Victor Moses; anyway the opponents will determine who is going to play.
“But from the friendlies I have seen, I do realise that it has been difficult for us to win a non-African side up till now.
“So if we are going into the tournament we’ve not won any, I think that it is very imperative we win against Iran.’’
The former Warri Wolves Head Coach, also urged the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) to motivate the players by paying their bonuses as they fall due.
“There should be no distraction; NFA should endeavour to pay them what they have agreed to pay. “Every country is giving their players bonus so ours should not be different too.
“There should be no argument so that they can have the right frame of mind,’’ Fuludu added.
