Abua/Odual Unity Cup Draws Hold, ’Morrow

The draws for the 5th
edition of Abua/Odual Unity Cup has been slated for  tomorrow.
In a statement signed by the media officer of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) ABOLGA 2014 Unity Cup, Mr. Sunday Kenodi said that the draws would be held at the County School field Abua by 10.00 am prompt.
Mr. Kenodi also requested that coaches, captions and Team managers of the 16 registered teams to represent their team at the event.
The competiton which is expected to commence next month July started five years ago has become more attractive and competitive event among local teams and players.
Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, (LOC) Deacon Solomon Ibanibo noted that the tournament was not only intended to discover talents but to expose players to clubs in the Nigeria premier league and as well as ensure peace and unity among players, youths and communities in Abua.
Ibanibo said that the Abolga Unity Cup has exposed many players from Abua to top league club sides in Nigeria.
He noted that the tournament has exclusively for youth players of Abua/Odual indigenes to ensure cooperation, friendliness and peace among them.
The LOC Chairman commended the Chairman of the Abua/Odual Local government Council, the youths, communities and elders for their support in ensuring the success of last competition and urged them to continue that manner this year edition.
