Yobe Moves To Renovate Sports Hall

Gaidam of Yobe State has directed the state Ministry of Sports to submit a comprehensive estimate for the renovation of its multi-purpose Indoor Sports Hall.
The National Sports Commission handed over the hall to the Yobe government for renovation and use.
The sports hall which was almost completed was destroyed by rainstorm two years ago and had remained dilapidated.
Gaidam told newsmen in Damaturu that the hall would be renovated to promote indoor sporting activities.
Meanwhile, the Yobe Government said it had constructed and furnished 80 housing units for expatriate lecturers and doctors in the state university and specialist hospital respectively.
Governor Gaidam said government was committed to providing conducive atmosphere to attract the best hands for the educational and health sectors.
