Jets Target Premier League Promotion
The newly appointed
head coach of Mighty Jets FC of Jos, Donald Malomo-Paris, has pledged to work hard toward facilitating the club’s promotion to the premier league.
Malomo-Paris told our correspondent in Jos that his number one priority was working hard with the players to take the club to the next level.
He said he had taken over a club that performed well in the first stanza of the Nigerian National League (NNL) and promised to improve on their achievements in the second stanza.
Malomo-Paris said every game would be approached with all the seriousness it deserved, especially with the initial challenge coming against city rivals — Plateau United on Saturday.
“I thank the management of the club for giving me the opportunity. I am going to make sure I reward them for having faith in me as I am counting this as a bold step in my career as a coach.
“Together we will work to take Mighty Jets where it belongs,’’ he said.
According to him, the management, the technical crew and players may not have done much without the support of the fans.
He appealed to them to continue to support the team.
“We want to solicit their support, particularly if they will solidly stand by us because there may be challenging periods ahead.
“Mighty Jets is a well established club. If the supporters stand by us, they will see a different thing going forward,’’ Malomo-Paris said.
