Group Lauds Council Boss Over Repair of Road

Rivers Movement (SRM) in Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Kingdom Nwankwo, has commended the chairman of the local government, Barr. Reginald Ukwuoma for the ongoing repair of Chokocho axis of Igwuruta – Okpala road which was  in a deplorable condition for a long time.
Speaking to journalists at Chokocho Community after monitoring the level of repair work on the road last Thursday, Hon. Nwankwo said the decision of the council boss to embark on the repair of the road at the twilight of his tenure shows his commitment to alleviate the suffering of the people.
He described Hon. Ukwuoma as a visionary leader  who has justified the mandate given to him by the Etche people.
He called on the constructing firm handling the road project as well as the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to expedite action on the road,before heavy rains begin to set in, saying as the oil producing local government that contributes to the growth of the country, Etche deserves to enjoy the dividends of its natural gifts.
