Flying Eagles Head
Coach, Manu Garba, has said that he does not intend to make changes in the team that beat the Ngonrongoro Heroes of Tanzania at home when they play the return leg.
The Flying Eagles defeated their Tanzanian counterparts 2-0 in the first leg of the 2015 African Youth Championship (AYC) qualifier played in Dar-es Salaam.
The second leg will be played in Kaduna on May 24.
Garba told newsmen in Kaduna that he was satisfied with the performance of the boys that played in the first leg match.
“Their performance in the last match was commendable. It is not easy to win an away game by as much as 2-0.
“I will work with them to play the return match so as to record success and proceed to the next stage.
“I believe we will do better, and there will be no changes, except if the players with injuries are not fit enough on the day of the match, then they may be changed.”
Garba said he was confident that the players would perform well and commended the Nigeria Football Association (NFA) for its support to the team.
According to him, the support being given by the NFA is motivating the players and will spur them to win their remaining matches.
The coach urged the players to work hard and maintain their level of fitness, so as to win the second leg match with a wide margin.
