Before Modern Medicine
So many adherents to “alternative” medicine dislike fashionable medicine, that they see as not being “natural.” In distinction, herbalism, homeopathy, treatment, varied types of “energy healing,” area unit touted as being extremely in tune with nature. They’re right concerning one factor. Throughout the vast majority of human history, humans have relied on pseudoscientific treatments for illness that were indeed much more “in tune” with nature (mainly as a result of they didn’t have the knowledge to try and do much else). Indeed, it’s only been within the last one hundred to a hundred and fifty years that science advanced to the point where real advancements could occur in medicine. therefore what was human history like in that “Golden Age” before nasty, reductionistic, unfeeling fashionable medicine rose?
