Amaechi’s Aide Assures APC Of Victory In Orashi

The Special Adviser to
the Rivers State Governor on Strategic Planning, Mr. Okey Okirie has assured the All Progressives Congress (APC) of the support of the Orashi region  in the 2015 general elections in the state.
Okirie  who gave the assurance, while reacting to the just concluded APC State congress in an interview with  newsmen  in Port Harcourt, said that the party was now positioned to win in the state in 2015.
He said that the peaceful outcome of the congress was an indication of the level of political maturity of both the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike  Rotimi Amaechi and the leadership of the party in the state.
The Special Adviser   congratulated Mr. Peter Odike for emerging as the State Deputy Chairman of the party, stressing that as a grassroots politician, Odike  would surely use his wealth of experience to rally support for the party both in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni and the entire Orashi region.
According to him, “the success of the congress was an indication that the APC has come to stay in Rivers State”.
He also described Governor Amaechi as a visionary and God sent leader to rescue  the State, stressing  that the governor’s achievements within the past seven  years in office were eloquent  testimony of the governor’s vision for the State.
The Special Adviser also called on the people of the state to rally round the governor to enable him do more for the people.
