Leading the gospel ministers was the General Superintendent of Redemption Ministries, Reverend Steven Akinola, who while delivering a sermon before the dedication of the community to God, told the people that the only way to secure a fruitful future for their children is to hand over the town to Jesus Christ.
He recalled God’s faithfulness to the town in recent years, asserting that “God in His mercy has visited Ikuru Town and there is no limit to what He can do,” adding that the people should continue to praise God so He can bring His blessings to perfection.
In his remarks while handing over the community to God, the Okan-Ama of Ikuru Town, King Aaron Ikuru, appreciated God’s mercies in making him the head of the community, asking the Almighty God to take over and bless the people and the land.
