Osaze Donates N1m To Bendel Insurance FC

Osaze Odemwingie has offered a financial lifeline to his boyhood club, Bendel Insurance FC of Benin.
The Nigeria international donated a cash gift of N1-million to the once great club who now languish in the lower division of Nigerian football.
The money was offered to the club on Odemwingie’s behalf by Austin Uwagboe who said that the donation was made by the player as a form of appreciation to the club that helped build his football career.
While receiving the donation, Austin Eguaevon, who was recently appointed as the Sole Administrator of the Club by the Edo State Government thanked the player for his contributions to the growth of the club.
Eguavoen also urged other stakeholders as well as the good people of Edo State to come to the aod of the club who were once one of the top rated sides in the country.
Earlier in the month, Odemwingie also donated jerseys and training kits to the club.
