National U-15 Baseball Tourney Begins, Today
Five states, including
host, Kwara, will feature in the maiden Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed U-15 National Baseball championship scheduled to begin today in Ilorin.
The Coordinator of Kwara Double T’ Baseball and Softball, Temitayo Abolarin, told newsmen that the other states were Lagos, Oyo, Rivers and the FCT.
Abolarin, who is also the President of Kwara Double T’ Youth Forum, added that the competition would begin with a technical committee meeting.
He said that the competition sponsored by Gov. Abdulfatah Ahmed was being organised by Kwara Double T’ Little League Baseball and Softball in partnership with the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development.
Abolarin said that the competition, scheduled to end on April 17, would hold at the Adewole Baseball Park in Ilorin.
