Liz Benson To Play Lead Role In Palace
Liz Benson who
missed in action in Nollywood for a very longtime has now bounced back to make believe industry and has since started featuring in new movies. She is expected to play a lead in a new movie titled PALACE produced by another Nollywood star, Rukky Sanda. The veteran actress is said to be in location for the shooting of the movie.
Recently, the talented thespian featured in Stephanie Okereke Linus new movie Dry Dry, a movie which centres on Vesico Vagina Fistula (VVF), a decease that is prevalent among women in the Northern part of Nigeria.
Liz Benson rose to fame in 1993 when she acted in the popular television series FORTUNE in which she played the role of Agnes Johnson. Her role in GLAMOUR GIRLS was also very outstanding. Her return to the screen has already become a loud event with her nomination in Best Actress in a supporting role at the just concluded African Viewers choice awards, (AMVCA)
It will be recalled that the veteran actress’s first husband, Samuel Gabriel Etim died in 1998. In 2009, the screen goddess got married to her second husband, a clergyman, Bishop Great Ameye of the Freedom Family Assembly International Church, Jesse, Delta State.
Aside fending to her husband and three children Liz Benson also does a lot of evangelism in keeping herself busy.
