How Frank Edwards Stole Show At RSBC Choral Fiesta

2014 turned out to be a day of spiritual upliftment praise songs, worship, drama and comedy at its best as Rivers State Broadcasting Corporation celebrated her 1115 edition of Radio Rivers 2 Easter Choral Festival at the Main Bowl of the Alfred Diete Spiff Civic Centre Moscow Road Port Harcourt, with groups of choristers, gospel artistes and Show Biz personalities.
Apart from the choral rendition of the participating choirs, praise and worship segment, the congregation was held spellbound by gospel music stars and the rave of the moment, Frank Edwards whose praise songs electrified the mammoth crowd who sang and danced in celebration of the Easter which signifies the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
The extra-ordinary performance of Frank Edwards was complimented by another gospel music maestro, popularly known as Preye, his Alleluia praise songs and stage performance were overwhelming as the congregation sang and danced with the group.
The night also witnessed the best of comedy as Tekenena Iyalla of the funky 4+1 group and MC Parrot cracked some ribs with their hilarious jokes as well as cultural dances and other side attractions to entertain the elated congregation.
Among some of the dignitaries that graced the occasion were: The first lady of Rivers State, Dame Judith Amaechi, with the wives of the Chief of Staff, Government House, the Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Speaker Rivers State House of Assembly, Secretary to the State Government etc.
Others include, chairman of the occasion and vice chancellor Rivers State University of Science and Technology Port Harcourt, Prof. B.B. Fakae, Royal Father of the day King Dandison Douglas Jaja (JEKI V), Amayanabo of  Opobo, chief host, Ibim Semenitari, Hon Commissioner for Information and Communication, Medline Tador JP, General Manager River State Broadcasting Corporation as well as the General Manager Rivers State Newspaper Corporation, Mr Celestine Ogolo, among others.
Also present were the administrator of Greater Port Harcourt, Dame (Barr) Aleruchi CookeyGam, Bishop Norman Jonah (General overseer Just Jesus Assembly), Rev Ugochukwu Unachukwu (Senior Pastor The Recovery House who gave the sermon) and the managing director Rivers State Micro Finance Agency, Tekena Harry etc.
