Dame Amaechi Harps On God’s Work

State Governor, Dame Judith Amaechi, has called on philanthropists and other public spirited individuals to invest in the work of God.
Dame Amaechi, who said this while commissioning 1200 capacity children worship centre donated to the St John’s Anglican Church Ndele in the Emohua local government area by Hon Lucky Worluh, said that people must have passion for the work of God.
She said that the worship centre was a demonstration of  Lucky Worluh’s passion for the work of God and urged others to emulate him.
Also speaking, the Bishop of Ikwerre Diocese of the Anglican Communion, Rt Rev. Blessing Eyindah, said that the Diocese was in dire need of philanthropists to advance the work of God in Ikwerre land.
Bishop Eyindah said that the children worship centre would help to bring the children closer to God stressing that by so doing, thousands of youths in Ndele and other communities in Ikwerre land would turn to God.
The Bishop said that the activities of  Lucky Worluh as far as the Diocese was concerned had brought the gospel of Christ closer  to the people.
Speaking, the donor of the children worship centre, Hon. Lucky Worluh, who is also the Board Member I, Rivers State Universal Basic Education Board (UBE), said that the centre which took three years to complete was to provide a place for children to worship God.
Hon Worluh said that through the centre many young minds would turn to God thereby checking restiveness in the area.
He also said that the worship centre was in line with the vision of Governor Amaechi, who was committed to the work of God, stressing that the situation has made Port Harcourt the second city with the largest number of churches after Lagos.
