Tennis Players’ Performance At Pilot League Excites Federation

nis Federation (NTTF) has expressed satisfaction at the development in the ongoing Pilot League in Lagos.
The NTTF’s Secretary, Chinedu Ezealah-Ogundare told newsmen in Lagos that the body was getting what it projected from the competition.
The competition, which served off on March 7, would be concluded on March 14.
Ezealah-Ogundare said that the essence of the competition was to discover potential athletes that could be groomed to stardom.
She said that the federation was on the lookout for outstanding athletes who are exceedingly good and gifted.
“Surprises are springing up every day in the competition; we are seeing many new players doing well.
“Many newcomers are even doing better than some of the current players in the national teams.
“We are seeing players that are giving us joy and hope for the international competitions coming up later in the year,” she said.
