RVHA Screens RSSDA Board Members, Today

As legislative activities re
sume today at the hallowed chambers of the Rivers State House of Assembly, the House is expected to continue the screening of Board members of the Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA).
The House last Tuesday screened Board members of the Rivers State Internal Revenue Service but differed their confirmation due to improper documentation of their credentials and non proof of tax payment.
The Speaker,Rt. Hon Otelemaba Dan Amachree deffered the confirmation of the members and ordered them to present proof of payment of their tax. The Speaker took the decision after hours of deliberations by honourable members.
The list of proposed board members of the RSSDA was presented to the House for screening by the executive arms of the government.
It would be recalled that the House, two weeks ago, also screened and confirmed the newly appointed new Chief Judge of the State,Peter Chuckwuemake Agumagu. After the confirmation, he was sworn in as the Chief Judge by His Execellency,Rt.Hon Chibuike Amaechi.
