Rivers To Host BON Awards 2014

Treasure bas of Nigeria has won the hosting rights of the Best Nollywood (BON) awards slated for the bubbling and peaceful city of Port Harcourt on October 4, 2014.
The executive producer of the award Mr Seun Olokefeyi who disclosed this in a recent interview with the press, said Port Harcourt was chosen because of some obvious reasons. According to him, Port Harcourt is one of the most beautiful critics in Africa, the state has produced some of the best acts in Nollywood.
Mr Oloketuyi disclosed that the state governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has also provided an enabling environment for tourism and Nollywood. In another development, the state Governor stated that it was a great honour to have the prestigious award platform in Port Harcourt, a year after hosting the nominees dinner.
The event is expected to be the most glamorous Nollywood event of the year. BON since inception 6 years ago has risen to become one of the most prestigious and transparent award ceremonies for Nollywood practitioners.
