Governor Rochas
Okorocha  of Imo State has urged the National Human Rights Commission to look into the issue of child labour and trafficking.
Okorocha made the call in Owerri while receiving a delegation of the commission led by its Executive Secretary, Prof. Bem Angwe.
He decried the rate at which human beings were being trafficked in the country, adding that time had come for such nefarious acts to be curtailed because of their negative implications.
Okorocha also decried the proliferation of baby factories in the country, saying that most of the factories were selling the babies to ritualists.
Angwe said they were in the state to unveil the plan of the commission to partner with Nollywood in bringing a change to the country.
In his remarks, a Nollywood actor, Mr Zack Orji, solicited the support of the governor in promoting human rights activities.
He commended the governor for his education policy aimed at guaranteeing the future of the children of Imo.
