Monalisa Harps On Professionalism In News Reporting

is no doubt a household name in Nollywood.
The Rivers State-born screen  goddess is the first born in a family of two sons and four daughters. She studied  Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt and  her first major movie was “Pregnant Virgin” in 1996. She has starred in many other movies after that.
The Ikwerre, Rivers State-born actress who also publishes the Monalisa  Magazine, a bi-monthly luxury magazine  for Africans, in a recent interview, stated that there is no career without flaws and there is no prize without paying a price.
According  to her, the internet revolution  is a great plat form for advancement, but we need to be more professional and accountable when it comes to news reporting. She said she had had her own share of bad press and urged journalists to always be mindful of what they publish and objectivity must always be their watchword.
