Lawmaker Assures On Effective Legislation

Khana Constituency One in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon Legboris Nwidadah has assured the people of his constituency of effective representation and sustainable development.
Hon Nwidadah gave the assurance in Port Harcourt recently, while receiving a delegation from Kpean community on a solidarity visit to his office.
The lawmaker expressed satisfaction over the community’s unflinching support to the Government of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Amaechi in Rivers State and reiterated the governor’s commitment to the development of the community, Ogoni, and Rivers State in general.
He said the 500KVA transformer given by the Rivers State Government to Kpean community would soon be installed to boost power supply .
Earlier, the Acting chairman of Kpean Council of Chiefs and Elders, Chief Gilbert Warinee who led the delegation had expressed satisfaction over the quality of representation of the lawmaker.
Chief Warinee said Kpean community had witnessed rapid transformation under the present political dispensation with the provision of a model primary school, health centre, model nursery/day care as well as power supply.
He added that the lawmaker had made meaningful contribution to peace and stability in the community.
In his speech, Elder statesman and traditional ruler in the community, High Chief Victor Nwinee charged the lawmaker to be resolute and proactive in the representation of the people to attract development projects that would have direct bearing on the people.
Chief Nwienee added that it was the responsibility of elected representatives to turn around the political fortunes of the electorate and their constituents.
