Dame Amaechi In Belgium, Speaks On Africa Gender Policy, Today

Wife of the Rivers State Governor, Dame Judith Amaechi is among speakers that will address world leaders and heads of corporations at the 1st Africa Women Forum at Crans Montana in Brussels, Belgium today.
Dame Amaechi is among panellists in Africa who will be speaking on gender policy, challenges and prospects at the forum.
In a statement signed by her Media Assistant, Dike Bekwele, said the governor’s wife will narrow her experience on gender policy to the Rivers State perspective, challenges and prospects.
Mrs Amaechi would be making her third appearance at the Crans Montana Forum.
In 2012, she delivered a keynote address with the topic: “Role of First Ladies in Peace Initiative” at Baku, Azerbaijan.
In the 2014 edition of the forum in Brussels, Belgium, she will be delivering her third lecture on Gender Policy in Africa.
Dame Amaechi expressed excitement that she is one of the chosen speakers that will x-ray the challenges of the African woman at the inaugural roundtable on African Women Forum.
She stated that issues of gender injustice were high on the African continent, and expressed optimum that government in African states will use the forum to revisit issues of gender with a view to addressing injustice and disparity against women.
Crans Montana Forum is an international platform for world leaders and heads of world’s corporations to discuss challenges facing the global economy.
