Team Manager of Rivers
Angels FC of Port Harcourt, Matilda Otuene has charged players in the club to improve on their scoring abilities in order to achieve the target of the team.
Otuene stated this at the weekend while briefing journalists after the match between Rivers Angels FC and Sunshine FC of Akure at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt.
According to her, the players played fine football with very good performance, pointing out that the team lacked scoring abilities while urging the players to work hard on their scoring skills.
“My players were good and they played fine football but  they have to go back to the drawing board to work more on their scoring,” she urged.
She, however, promised to put smiles on the faces of fans this weekend as they visit Taraba in the week three fixtures of the on-going 2014 professional women football league.
Earlier, the Technical Adviser of the club, Godwin Okon also called for early release of fund to enable the team leave Port Harcourt early  in order to avoid fatigue on the players.
Meanwhile the match between Rivers Angels and Sunshine FC of Akure ended 2-0 in favour of the Angels.
