Rivers Angels Ready For Amazons Clash
Rivers Angels FC of Port
Harcourt says it is set to encounter Nasarawa Amazons today in the finals of the 2013 professional women league ending super six play-off competition at the National Stadium, Abuja.
The match which is expected to be a thriller, would have both teams battle for honours at the end of today’s game.
The Angels have declared that they are determined to stop the Amazons at all cost, in order to prove their supremacy in the women’s league.
The assistant coach of the club Whyte Ogbondah who said this maintained that the team has done necessary preparations for the match, adding that it is now time to get the expected result by winning the final game of the competition.
“Though, there is no promise made to motivate the players right now, but, their daily needs are been cared for”, Ogbondah said.
On the other hand, their counterparts would not give Rivers Angels the free hand to take the trophy on a platter of gold but are equally ready for a win, this has gone a long way to show that the match would not be an easy one for both sides, as they battle for the trophy.
