State Sports Council, Adeola Opeifa, has lauded the outstanding performance of the Lagos State Handball team at the just-concluded Mega Veterans Handball Championships in Abuja.

“I am very happy and impressed with the team’s performance; it is an evidence of their commitment to the various programmes organised by the council.
“Our regular training, developing talents and attending different competitions both at the state and the national levels, have improved our performance tremendously,’’ she said.
