winning actress, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has expressed anger with the whole situation of pollution in the Niger Delta.

The Ondo State-born A –list actress in a recent  interview with the CNN said she felt hurt when she was shooting a film in the area which also revolves around the struggle in the region. According to her, “it is very sad, you need to go to the Niger Delta region to know what the people of the area are going through.

The UN and Amnesty International ambassador noted that if you go to that area today, most of the locals do not have jobs because they are basically fishermen, most of the women work in the field and the world is silent.

Omotola, who is one of the 100 most influential persons in the world according to the times of London rating disclosed that she recently shot a film about the Niger Delta situation called ‘Up creek’ and she wept when shooting the movie because of the poor living condition of the people.

Meanwhile, the Nollywood screen goddess and mother of four is alleged to be having an affair with distinguished a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Eyinnaya Abaribe, according to reports, as Omotola frequently pays visit to the senator.

It was also gathered that the beautiful actress who has so far remained scandal free in the make believe industry called Nollywood has intimate relationship with the senator who goes out with her when the opportunity arises.
