‘Media ,Vital Tool For Evangelism’

he Mass Media has been de
scribed as a crucial tool in the proper spread of the gospel in the world.

State Overseer of Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), Pastor Andrew E. Osagie stated this last Tuesday when he led a delegation of the church on a courtesy visit to the General Manager of Rivers State Newspaper Corporation (RSNC), Port Harcourt, Mr Celestine Ogolo.

The Rivers State Overseer who was represented by the Sub-Region Moderator, Rumuokoro Sub-Region, Pastor Israel Mpaoro drew reference from John Chapter 19 verse 19 said it was through communication that gospel documentations were made and also spread across generation from place to place.

He explained that the visit was a means of sensitizing the general public on the focus and goal of the visit of the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi to Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

He appealed for partnership with The Tide in the Crusade slated to hold from today 7

th to 10th February 2014 and commended The Tide for its kind gesture with the church in their past transactions.

He canvassed the substance of the co-operation and partnership for the mutual benefit of the and the public and particularly appealed for adequate coverage of activities of the crusade by The Tide  to spread the crusade message to all nooks and crannies of Rivers State.

The General Manager of RSNC, Mr Celestine Ogolo expressed gratitude to the church for identifying with The Tide noting that the crusade and visit of Pastor W.F.Kumuyi to Port Harcourt as being timely in view of the political challenges in the state.

He said Rivers State needed prayers for peace to individuals, the state and the nation and assured the church of adequate coverage of its activities.

The General Manager who used the opportunity to unveil more windows of collaboration between The Tide and the church for mutual benefit emphasizing that apart from publishing The Tide, the corporation also embark on publications of high quality posters, flyers and books and promised minimal cost but high quality service.
