Uche Continues Scoring Form For Villarreal

Ikechukwu Uche continued
his impressive form for Villarreal as he scored a brace in their 5-2 win over Real Sociedad in a La Liga game played on Monday night at the Camp El Madrigal.
Fit again Giovanni dos Santos opened the scoring for the Yellow Submarines after latching onto a last ditch pull back from Mario Perez in the 16th minute.
Uche then extended Villarreal’s lead in the 27th minute when he poked home a cross from Dos Santos in the 27th minute, after an impressive build up that involved a neat interchange of passes inside the opponent’s box.
Dos Santos then scored again in the 33rd minute to give the hosts an unassailable first half lead, before returning in the 55th minute to provide the assist which led to Uche’s second goal on the night, albeit from a somewhat offside position.
Moises Gomez put the icing on the cake for Villarreal with a goal in the 58th minute, but Sociedad managed to pull a goal back later in the game through Imanol Agirretxe.
Uche who bagged a hat-trick last week has now scored 11 goals in 16 appearances for fifth placed Villarreal this season.
