This Epic movie was shot at Igbo, Etche where the producers converted a forest and sand dredging area to a location to shoot the movie. Some part of the movie was also shot at Elibrada sandfield in Emohua local government area, Rivers State.
Speaking on the movie, one of the star actors who played the role of one of the elders, in an interview with The Tide Entertainment, disclosed that the movie is based on the Ikwerre culture that centres on chieftaincy tussle. According to him, it is an epic movie that can compete favourably with other epic films shot in South Africa and other countries.
According to him, the movie gulped over N10 million to be produced and premiered. He said the movie will soon be premiered in London, USA, Dublin and South Africa. He noted that the casts are mainly from Rivers State which shows that the state is blessed with abundant talent in role interpretations and the act of film making.
Elder Okike stressed that movie production has come to stay in the state, what is required now is financial support and the necessary logistics assistance. He also called for the creation of a film village in the state as this will boost film production, groom more actors and actresses as well as generate employment opportunities.
He contended that film village will prevent film makers and their cast and crew from going to other neigbouring states to shoot films. According to him, the state is blessed with choice locations for shooting, standard hotels and other facilities that should spur investors to invest in the lucrative and viable movie industry in the state.
