Rivers Angels Sign Nine New Players

Port Harcourt has recruited nine seasoned players to beef up the team ahead of the 2014 professional women league and FA cup competition this soccer season.
The assistant Coach of the Club, Whyte Ogbondah made this known yesterday during an interview with Tidesports in Port Harcourt.
According to him, the newly recruited players are professionals who are good at their chosen career, adding that, the girls are determined to prove their worths when the “chips are down”.
“The girls would not disappoint the Rivers people and our fans, because, they have what it takes to deliver the right result at the right time”, he assured.
The news players include Adiola from Sunshine Queens, Cecilia Nku from Bayelsa Queens, Yetunde from Bayelsa Quuens, Loveth Ayinla from Sunshine Queens and three others from Ghana.
Meanwhile, about seven players were also, dropped from the team, while, two got married last year.
It would be recalld that the Angles are currently getting set to encounter the Nassarawa Amazons FC next month in the final battle of the 2013 league ending super six play-off schedule to hold in Abuja.
