Omotola Emerges 2013 Africa’s Lady Of ShowBiz

Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde added another feather to her cap by making the 2013 time 100 World’s Icon list as one of the most influential people in the world on the same honour list are Beyonce, Kate Middleton, Michelle Obama, Juslin Timber lake and the Chinese Tennis Star Li Na.

The previous honourees include: President Barak Obama, Opra Winfrey and Angelina Jolie.  In this years edition, President Obama was recognised as one of the world’s most influential leaders, while Beyonce’s husband Jay-Z was recognised as a tifan.

In a statement released by the magazine, Omotola was described as Africa’s leading lady of showbiz, after two decades of consistent on screen success.  The African Jewel accomplishments have been recognised as a pioneering force of the Nollywood film industry.

Hot only catapults her to superstar  dorm but also reinforces the African film industry as a global power house.

It would be recalled that this very talented actress got married to Capt. Matthew Ekeinde at the tender age of 18 and has 4 children.  Apart from being one of the most successful Nollywood actresses, she is also a singer.

Her first role in a movie came in the film venom of justice “(1995), she burst into the Nollywood clan with the movie “mortal inheritance”.

At the end of the day she has a baby and eventually lives.  This film which received good reviews, won her awards for her role in the movie and is still known as one of Nigeria’s best movies ever made.  Ever since then, she has not looked back and she has starred in block buster movies like “Games Women Play”, “Blood Sisters”, “All my Life”, “Last Wedding”, “My Story”, “The Woman in Me” etc.

In the year 2005 she launched her music career.  She is fondly called ‘Omosexy’ by her largefuns because of her pretty look and well carved out body.
