Man O’War Boss Wants Network Providers To Sit Up

The mobile network
operators in Nigeria have been charged to sit up and ensure that they render best services to subscribers in the country.
The Commander, Man O’War Nigeria, Rivers State Command, Amb Kriss Rissi said this while reacting to some issues about network providers in Port Harcourt, recently.
He noted that network services were too poor last year, while charging them to improve on their services.
Rissi, named MTN, Airtel and Glo as companies that need urgent overhaul of their facilities in order to enable them beat the challenges in the industry.
He recalled that network services are always bad during festive periods, adding that that of 2013 was the worst.
According to him, better services also enhances better policing of the country, hence the need to improve on network provision.
The Tide gathered that the sale of recharge cards last year Christmas went up by about 10-20 per cent.
Subscribers who spoke with out reporter, said that network providers use festive periods to increase the original price of their recharge cards.
They regretted that service providers are always after profit making, saying that it was about time regulatory bodies prevail on them.
