Group Donates To Orphanage Home
A socio cultural
organisation in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, the Apara Integrity Group has donated materials worth thousand of Naira to the Good Shepherd Foundation Orphanage and Destitute Home, Mgbuoba.
Receiving the materials onbehalf of management of the home, the matron Mrs Blessing Dikibo said that the home founded in 2009 has twenty one children.
Dikibo said that the children were being taken care of free stressing that the founder of the home Mrs Azuka Wechie also placed the children on scholarship and stressed the need for public support to enable the home continue to discharge its responsibilities to the public.
Also speaking, the manager of the home, Mr. Marlon Stanley thanked the group for identify with the children, noting that the management is working hard to move the home to its permanent site.
Also speaking the President of Apara Integrity group, Mr. Chike Uche said they were in the orphanage to identify with the children and the management of the home.
Uche who thanked the management for taking care of the children, said their visit will spur other social organisations to come to identify with the home.
Also speaking the Pubic Relations Officer of Apara integrity group chief Joe Mgbakiri commended the management for the clenlines of the orphanage and the excellent conduct of the children.
Mgbakiri who urged other non-governmental organizations and public spirited individuals to come to the aid of the home and pray God to continue to give them more blessings to take care of the children.
Pioneer, President of the group, Hon. Noble Chukwuati described the visit as the beginning of great things to come to the home.
Items donated includes; bags of rice, cartons of indomie noddles, cartons of biscuit tins of milk and custards including unspecified sum of cash.
