Bastia Unveils Mba
Sunday Mba has been unveiled by French side CA Bastia as their marguee signing for the winter transfer window.
The Nigeria international midfielder, who has scored five goals in 17 appearances for the national team, has signed an 18-month contract with the Ligue 2 strugglers to revive his embattled career.
The 24-year-old was previously the subject of an ownership tussle between Warri Wolves and his boyhood club Enugu Rangers.
Mba is now ineligible to represent Nigeria in the upcoming African Nations Championship, and was on line to make his debut for Bastia on Saturday when they travelled to face La Roche-sur-Yun at the Stade Henri Desgrange.
