Rivers State Governor, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has condoled with Prof. Wole Soyinka on the death of his daughter, Iyetade Soyinka.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. David Iyofor, Governor Amaechi said it was sad that Iyetade left so soon.” The death of a young person like the Prof’s daughter is a shock.
On behalf of my family and the Rivers State Government and people, I commiserate with the Soyinka family.” “I pray that they find solace and strength in God as they go through this difficult time.” The governor prayed that Iyetade’s soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.
