The Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST) says it has adjusted properly this Yule tide to render the best service as regards postal operations.
The Manager, Public Relations, Port Harcourt Territorial Headquarters, Mr Godwin Akpan, said this in a chat with The Tide in Port Harcourt Tuesday.
He said for sometime now, it has been the desire of the organisation to ensure that it operates within the international standard to give Nigerians the best customer care services.
Akpan noted that they have earmarked some special services that would guarantee speedy letter as well as parcel delivery this Christmas period.
Though, he was not specific about such services but said that parcels and other items may be delivered earlier than expected.
It would be recalled that NIPOST promised 72 hours parcel delivery as against its former one month or more delivery system.
Some players in the field, attributed the improvement to the present era of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) which they believe is responsible for the wake-up in NIPOST.
Earlier, he had called on Nigerians, not to envisage any kind of fear, but should go ahead with their transactions with NIPOST, saying that their requests would be given the required attention.
