Tenant Docked For Allegedly Slapping Landlady
A 33-year-old tenant, Folasade Adeola, was recently arraigned before an Ibadan Magistrate Court sitting in Iyaganku for allegedly slapping her landlady.
The prosecutor, Cpl. Olufemi Omilana, told the court that Adeola slapped her landlady, Abosede Eniola, last Sunday at Adegbite Crescent, off Olapade Street, Oluyole area of Ibadan
Omilana said the offence contravened Section 351 of the Criminal Code Cap. 38, Vol. II, Laws of Oyo State, 2000.
The accused person, however, pleaded not guilty to the offence.
The Magistrate, Mr Maroof Mudashiru, granted the accused bail in the sum of N10,000 with one surety in like sum.
Mudashiru adjourned the case till January 15 for further hearing.
